"I must be a happy customer as I have brought Quintech into the cruise industry several years ago -- and your RF matrices and other RF products are now standard throughout fleets from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line to Celebrity Cruises. The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's fleet of 16 ships. All use only Quintech RF Matrix systems or Quintech RF Splitters for their satellite systems. Celebrity Cruise Line's fleet of 9 ships also uses only Quintech RF splitters or Quintech RF Matrix systems for their satellite systems."
The SFM 070 is a full fan-in matrix switch and switching subsystem that allows multiple inputs carrying 70 MHz IF signals to be routed and combined to a single output. The system utilizes patented stack-and-tier technology, which offers ultra-reliable, high-performance, in a compact, modular design. This greatly reduces the size and complexity of the system while greatly enhancing the system's reliability by eliminating the need for patch panels and repetitive mechanical connections. The system is controllable either locally via the front panel keypad or remotely via computer and is compatible with most monitoring and control systems. The rear panel design facilitates structured cable routing, thereby eliminating confusing tangles and bundles of cables.
Features & Benefits
Operating frequency range for IF (70 MHz)
Modular design allows for easy system installations and expansions.
Quintech's patented Stack and Tier technology takes up less rack space.
SFM Fan-in IF matrix switches greatly enhance system reliability by eliminating patch panels.
Controllable locally via front panel keypad or remotely via computer and are compatible with most monitoring and control systems, freeing up staff to attend to more critical tasks.
SFM Fan-in IF matrix switches allow for switching of alternate sources to comply with immediate changes in routing requirements.
Solid-state switching elements provide seamless (nanoseconds) switching speeds.
SFM Fan-in IF matrix switches maximize the use of existing equipment; with automated switching and scheduling, you can get the most out of your expensive network components, and -- no need for dedicated equipment.
Up to 10 additional remote controllers can be daisy-chained to the master.
The rear panel design facilitates structured cable routing, eliminating confusing tangles of cable.
SFM Fan-in IF matrix switches offer standard power redundancy and high isolation for optimum system reliability.
Easy access front panel keypad and LCD display provide convenient cross point identification.
Auto-ranging 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz Dual AC inputs and dual internal PSU's for redundancy
