MRF 1000
Control Protocol
Quintech's MRF Series programmable, non-blocking, full fan-out (splitting) broadband matrix switch solutions are configured to route any of 2, 4, 8 or 12 inputs carrying RF signals to any number of 2 or 4 outputs. These broadband matrix switches offer compact, ultra-reliable, high performance realizations of radio frequency (RF) switching technology very cost effective. This advanced realization greatly reduces the size, complexity and cost of large broadband RF routing systems, while enhancing their performance and reliability through a drastic reduction in the number of switching modules, component count, connectors and interconnection cables. Systems are DC-blocking.

Features & Benefits
-
Operating frequency ranges for Broadband (5-1000 MHz).
-
MRF broadband matrix switch greatly enhances system reliability by eliminating patch panels.
-
Controllable locally via front panel keypad or remotely via computer and are compatible with most monitoring and control systems, freeing up staff to attend to more critical tasks.
-
MRF broadband matrix switch allows for switching of alternate sources to comply with immediate changes in routing requirements.
-
Solid-state Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) switching elements provide seamless (nanoseconds) switching speeds.
-
MRF broadband matrix switch maximizes existing equipment; with automated switching and scheduling, you can get the most out of your expensive network components, and -- no need for dedicated equipment.
-
Up to 10 additional remote controllers can be daisy-chained to the master.
-
The rear panel design facilitates structured cable routing, eliminating confusing tangles of cable.
-
MRF broadband matrix switch offers standard high isolation for optimum system reliability.
-
Easy access front panel keypad and LCD display provide convenient cross point identification.
